Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 29, 2026

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Ripple Guard ("Application") for mobile devices, which was created by our development team. The Application is a hyper-casual action-arcade game where users tilt their device to steer a paper duck and tap on screen ripples to defend it.

1. Information We Collect

A. Device Sensor Information

The Application accesses your mobile device's accelerometer/gravity sensors. This information is processed locally on your device in real-time solely to translate your physical device tilt into the movement of the in-game character. Sensor data is never collected, stored, or transmitted outside your device.

B. Local Storage (SharedPreferences)

The Application stores gameplay statistics, specifically your personal high scores and settings preferences (e.g., sound volume settings), locally on your device. This data remains on your device and is not synchronized with any servers unless provided by Google Play services backup configurations.

2. Third-Party Services and Advertisements

The Application integrates third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We use Google AdMob to display advertisements to monetize the game.

Google AdMob may collect and process device identifiers, advertising IDs, location data, and other diagnostic telemetry data to personalize ads. You can review Google's privacy policy here: Google Privacy & Terms.

3. Consent Management (GDPR and UMP)

We implement the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to comply with privacy regulations in various regions, including the European Economic Area (EEA) under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Users in applicable jurisdictions will be presented with a consent form on startup, allowing them to choose whether to accept personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or withdraw consent at any time through the in-game settings.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The Application is designed as a family-friendly game. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us so we can take necessary actions.

5. Security

We value your trust in playing our game. Since we do not transmit or store personal data on our own external servers, your gameplay data is protected by your device's native operating system security features.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective immediately when posted on this page.
