We are deeply committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our mobile application. Our core philosophy is simple: your personal diary, thoughts, and memories belong exclusively to you.
100% Offline & Local Storage Guarantee
All your notes, rich-text contents, voice recordings, and photo attachments are stored locally on your personal device. We do not host external servers to collect, read, or sync your private diary entries.
1 Information Collection and Local Storage
A. User-Generated Journal Data:
When you create entries in the App, you may write notes, apply rich text styles, attach images, and record voice notes. This data is saved directly in your device's internal application database (Room SQLite) and private storage sandbox. This information is never transmitted to us or any unauthorized third party.
B. No Account Required:
You can use Pages without signing up, creating an account, or providing personal identifiers such as your name, phone number, or home address.
2 Device Permissions and Purpose
The App requests the following device permissions solely to provide core application features:

Microphone (
RECORD_AUDIO): Used exclusively when you tap the voice record button to capture audio memos for your diary entries. Voice files (.m4a) are stored locally in the app's private folder. -
Camera (
CAMERA): Used solely if you choose to take a photo directly within the app to attach to your diary entry. - Photo Gallery / Storage Access: Used only when you explicitly select photos from your device's media gallery to include in your notes.
Note: You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time via your Android device's System Settings.
3 Third-Party SDKs and Services
To support ongoing maintenance and provide standard application services, the App integrates trusted third-party services provided by Google LLC:
A. Google AdMob (Advertising)
We display advertisements using Google AdMob to keep the application accessible. Google AdMob may collect and process pseudonymous data such as device advertising identifiers (GAID), IP address, general location, and ad interaction metrics to deliver relevant or non-personalized ads according to Google's privacy standards.
B. Google Play In-App Review API
The App uses the official Google Play Core In-App Review API to allow users to optionally rate the app. This interaction is handled securely and directly by Google Play Services without sharing your identity with us.
4 Data Retention and User Control
Because all diary data resides locally on your smartphone:
- Deleting an Entry: Deleting a note inside the app immediately and permanently removes the note text, audio recording, and photo attachments from your device.
- Uninstalling the App: Clearing app storage or uninstalling the application from your device will permanently remove all stored diary records.
5 Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)
Pages does not knowingly collect or solicit personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal information is requested or stored remotely, the app is safe for general audiences.
6 Security of Your Data
Your notes benefit from the native sandboxing and hardware encryption mechanisms built into the Android operating system. We advise users to protect their mobile devices with strong screen lock passcodes, biometrics, or device encryption.
7 Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or legal requirements. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. You are advised to review this page periodically for any updates.
